Galactic Guts by Long-Pham Galactic Guts by Long-Pham
I'm back into good old space art

-------

"A Planet that was ejected from it's orbit around it's sun and wanders freely in interstellar space is called a Planetar.
This is what happened to this rocky world a few billion years ago.
It's now the silent witness of the death of the galaxy it originated from.
This kind of cataclysmic event happens only rarely when the huge black hole found in a galaxy's center becomes too heavy to support it's own mass. "

Ow, that made my head hurt... :disbelief:

Black holes don't have an upper mass limit. Sorry, it's a great pic, but your patently unscientific comments just killed it.

Hypothetically, if a black hole attempted to absorb too much matter at once something crazy might happen at the quantum level just 'above' the event horizon. The in-falling matter, in this case, would spontaneously cause a MASSIVE detonation that interacted with the black hole's own gravity in such a way that the scenario in the picture becomes possible. Granted such an event would be incredibly improbable, but, since there is no such thing as impossibility or certainty within the realm of statistical probability, it could still happen. :wow: Wow..... I read way too many articles on theoretical physics...... Now I have a headache from blown brain fuses......

I found this illustration brilliant, it is my desktop now. Truly beatiful doble torus.

If you are not familiar with Nassim Haramein's physic theories check it out, I believe it may be interesting to you:

Nice ! I'm glad you like it :)

I saw 'crossing the event horizon' a while ago.
Nassim's theories are indeed worth exploring but the guy himself makes me feels like he is unscientific.

I understand your point. I would add we have been culturally programmed to conceptualize "experts" in quite a rigid frame. If you check his physic papers, they are quite awesome. It's also hard to understand the coming together of science and spirit. We are going full circle (opening a new spiral I'd say) with the whole science-religion (spirituality) issue in my opinion. Science will always be a spiritual matter if you ask me.

I totally agree with the idea of a rigid cultural mindset sometimes difficult to get out of.
I'll have to look more closely at his papers and look at peer review.
All humans have to create and experience science through the mind that is indeed spiritual in nature.
